Ep. 38 Batman Punches People in the Face

| Posted by | 3 Comments

The Lady Geeks ask the age old question: would we rather be a villain against Batman or Superman? They also discuss a world where human blood is produced from rice and human limbs are grown from trees. FYI, Frank Miller is a douche bag. Fanfic Theatre: Xena.

Awesome cast ladies, but allow me to be the typical condescending nerd for a moment. Not all of superman villains are black and white, there’s Metallo and Bizzaro, one was always a crook, who was pushed to insanity when his body was turned to robotics after being tricked by Lex and he realized he could no longer feel anything, effectively being numb to the world. The other a failed experiment by Lex was born into the world with Superman’s memory, but none of the love he receives, shunned from a world he thought he knew and considered a freak, he turns his rage to superman. Also the Robin’s aren’t quite an easy target, Cassandra Cain is almost on Par in combat as Batman himself (though technically a batgirl) and Red Robin, tim Drake is an excellent dectective, plus as Jason Todd and Stephanie Brown prove they’re impossible to kill. I’ll shut up now as my brain is fried, but I continue to love the episodes, so keep it up.

Thank you so much for listening!

Haha, I know, we got a little bit ridiculous during the discussion and made a lot of generalization. :) It’s hard to elaborate when we’re under a time constraint. Glad you enjoyed it otherwise though :)

BATMAN. I’ve wanted to be a Batman villain since I was 9. They’re more well rounded, human and have true wounds that have cracked their insanity. They’ have reasoning – philosophy, as Giselle said – behind their crimes – it’s no excuse for the crimes, but it’s part of their tortured psyche. Let’s face it – insanity is kind of attractive.
