SDCC 2012

San Diego Comic-con came and went, yet again… and there were a million things to see and do! This year, to promote The Batmobile Documentary, six Batmobiles were on display at Bayfront Park between the Hilton and Convention Center. From Adam West’s 60s Batmobile to Christian Bale’s Tumbler, fans were allowed to view and take photos of  or with the cars.

The documentary aired on the CW on July 16th – check their website for videos and previews.

The Batmobile from the 60s television show is probably my favorite, while the Tumbler looked the coolest in person. The Batmobiles used in the previous movies, both from Tim Burton to Joel Schumacher’s, are all very iconic although somewhat cheesy-looking in person. I mean that in the fondest way though! They were all very cool to look at in person.

Gizzy B likes to say that the Clooney Batmobile is non-existant though. I think I would call it the ClooneyMobile instead.

I don’t think nothing else could be as nerd-tastic as having six Batmobiles all in one place.
