Ah, yes, here we are. Thanksgiving is over. Some of you are probably a lot like me and is just spending this Friday doing some lazy window shopping online. Ladies, there are now too many adorable “geek” things for us to buy for ourselves and our equally dorky friends. Can you believe it? It wasn’t so long ago we’d had to scrape the Hot Topic stores to find anything to represent our pop-culture tastes. Here are my personal picks for this year in case you still need a little help narrowing down what to buy!
We’ve spotlighted RedBubble.com before because they are pretty awesome. Currently, they are having their Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales and they kindly shared their discount codes with us. For Black Friday, use BF20 and on Cyber Monday use CM20 to get 20% off your purchases!
RedBubble.com’s items are truly unique and they have an amazing collection of Doctor Who original artwork for sale. Just like our donut friend above, you can decorate your room with a bunch of Doctor Who pillows!
Trust me, these pillows are high in quality as well. The print on the fabric will last a long time and the pillow is quite fluffy and comfortable!
Here is an unlikely place you would go shopping at for geek wear, but I recently found this amazing Star Wars’ Death Star shirt/dress at Kohls:
This item is currently on sale for $19.99 so snatch it up before it’s all gone. This brand, Rock & Republic, created a fashion line dedicated to Star Wars but this piece is my favorite. Get it in time to wear when you watch the movie! If you really want to be super awesome, you can try nabbing advance movie tickets for that big Star Wars nerd in your life as well.
I am really looking forward for when the X-Files reboot will flood the internet with adorable merchandise for me to waste my money on. For now, I have my eye on this skirt that is available at Fox’s official online store.
I think it’s pretty cute and it’s currently available for $29.95.
What about for the cosplayers in your life? Cosplay in America recently released volume 2 of his photo collection. This book looks gorgeous and also includes “behind the scenes” photos along with studio shots of all kinds of cosplayers.
The book is available for $40 plus shipping at the website.
I am a huge Supernatural dork and if you are a part of the fandom, you’ll know that actor, Jared Padalecki has had a series of Represent.com campaigns. His holiday campaign features this design, which is a must have for anyone who considers themselves a part of the SPN family.
The design is available as a hoodie, a sweatshirt, a tank top and t-shirts. Check out the campaign for the prices and all proceeds goes to charity as well.
My recent trip to Tokyo reminded me again how much I will forever love Pokemon. You’d be jealous of all the things I got at the Pokemon Center in Ikebukuro. But fear not, there are plenty of cute things available including this adorable but simple “ugly” Christmas sweater.
This is available on Etsy.com for $28.99 plus shipping.
Are you into make-up that revolves around geek themed colors? Are you addicted to subscription boxes? Check out Espionage Cosmetics’ brand new BOOM!Box. These bad boys are full of nail wraps, make-up and tons of surprise goodies. I use their nail wraps and make-up at a regular basis and can tell you for a fact that these are high quality items. What’s better than getting them all at a discounted rate? Look at how cute their products are, especially these The Last Unicorn nail wraps!
BOOM!Box starts at a $30/per box subscription rate.
