Stephanie has been a singer all her life. At Anime Expo 2004 she became the grand winner of AX IDOL, a contest for aspiring voice actors and singers, judged by industry judges. Soon after, Geneon contacted her saying that they wanted to record her version of Ningyo Hime from Chobits. The song that she won Ax Idol 2004 with. She was so happy that her musical aspirations and dreams were finally close at hand. Through Geneon she got to meet everyone from I'VE which led her to record three songs from I'VES record company Fuctory Records! Now that Stephanie has recorded her songs (Shift, Sabaku no Yuki, Ningyo Hime) which are featured on the CD ANIME KARAOKE COLLECTION, she was given the chance to come back and perform her songs at AX Idol once again. The CD made it's big debut at Anime Expo and is now being sold at many major record stores and media outlets(i.e. Suncoast, Sam Goody, FYE, Barnes N Noble, Borders, etc.). Since AX IDOL, she has been seen across the country, peforming at different events and conventions. She even went to Japan to have a live performance in Harajuku!
She is not only a staff member of the Southern California NANA Day Organization, graciously helping put the event together-- but she will also be performing during the event. We thank Stephanie for all her work, and welcomes her as a guest of SoCal NANA Day! We look forward to her performance! * Parts of this bio were taken straight from Stephanie's official website, Steph-Idol.com.
