Throwback Thors-day: Our First Video!

The first video we posted on our YouTube channel is ‘Defective Geeks Goes to Star Tours’ in 2011. Whilst bored and waiting in line  for the Star Tours ride in Disneyland after it had been revamped to what it is known as today! The wait time was so long that we somehow thought we should attempt to be brilliant, show our audience what it was like to wait in line AND created a story line all at the same time. A cat and mouse chase story, with mystery, drama and possibilities of forever friendships.

In my opinion, this video is still one of our best ones.

“Alien juice.”

Enjoy! ;)

Halloween! Universal Studios Halloween Horror Night 2013

HHN 2013

Once again, I found myself at Halloween Horror Night in Hollywood and I’ve already gone to the park twice this year (once with the girls and once with my boyfriend!). This year’s mazes includes Insidious, The Evil Dead, Black Sabbath 13, El Cucuy, Monster Remix and The Walking Dead. We had a lot of fun this year although I can’t say that this was my most memorable experience at HHN.

Halloween! Knott’s Scary Farm 2013

Knott's Scary Farm 2013

They have been around for more than a decade since I remembered my own mother taking me to the park on a Halloween (possibly one of their first years as Knott’s Scary) when I was barely a tween and getting scared to death! When Scarlettburn and I went this year, I had wondered out loud why a parent would agree to take an impressionable child to the park. It wasn’t until I was laughing hysterically at the reactions of a group of kids chaperoned by their own parents inside one of the mazes that I understood why. It’s kind of funny to see terrified children and it’s possibly a nice little revenge for making our parents’ lives a constant hell. . . but everyone has their fun in the end, so why not!
