I am never more happy than when I am basking in my Animaniacs nostalgia.
When I found out that Rob Paulsen (Yakko) and music writer, Randy Rogel, teamed up to put together a full, live orchestra concert to perform songs from the show live on stage… I had to be there. The show, as expected, was absolutely FABOO!
Warner Brother’s (and the Warner Sister) Animaniacs shaped my childhood and fed my already wacky-off-putting-sense-of-humor. Rob Paulsen, known as the voice of Yakko and Pinky, has been doing a live version his podcast show to the Jon Lovitz Podcast Theater, bringing along his fellow voice actors to talk and sing to fans. On Friday night, April 12th 2013, he finally brought his co-stars to the show, Tress MacNeille (Dot) and Jess Harnell (Wakko). I was lucky enough to snag tickets to this sold out show and finally see all three of my childhood heroes on stage.
