Are you a Street Fighter or a Tekken fan? Maybe both? You should check out this fun announcement video from Thousands Pounds who are filming a short film produced by Capcom.
Yeah, I love the girl kicking butt! Mostly because I am a Tekken girl all the way. I’ve kicked a few butts in the arcade back in my days, let me tell you. I’m looking forward to the Street Fighter x Tekken collaboration… although I’m sure I’ll get my ass kicked in the game.
Thousands Pounds will release the film in conjunction with the game’s release in March 2012.

As you probably already know, match ups between classic icons from the Street Fighter and Tekken series will become a reality March 6 of next year with the release of Street Fighter X Tekken.Â Now, to help support the release, Capcom has commissioned Thousand Pounds Action company, the team behind Real Life Ultra Combos and Street Fighter: Beginnings End, to create a short film based on the game.Â As an announcement, the company has created this video, filmed on location outside the Los Angeles set of the TV commercial for Street Fighter X Tekken.
The short film from Thousand Pounds Action Company is due to be released in conjunction with the game in March.Â This will be the first in a series of videos officially commissioned in support of Street Fighter X Tekken, with more to come from various popular YouTube directors.
