A recent twitter update by Fortune Cookie brought on quite a bit of nostalgia for myself this morning. Back in the day (which wasn’t that long ago), I was pretty big on the Lord of the Rings movies. Which geek wasn’t, really? I got on the internet and pulled up all the best video parodies that were uploaded during the LotR craze. Funny how a few years of video quality is noticeable. Let’s start with the ever classic They’re Taking the Hobbits to Isengard, one of the original music remixes on the web I would say.
Or you can watch the version that goes on for 10 hours long here. Yes. I know.
Then there is Lord of the Rings funny voices. This one never fails to just completely crack me up.
Mouth of Sauron Sings Manamanah:
Lord of the Rings – Monty Python. You’re mother was a hamster!
Mashed Taters. Boil ’em, mash ’em, stick ’em in a stew.
The Very Secret Diary of Legolas. Oh, shit, I remember reading “The Very Secret Diary” series and cracking up all night at my computer. Am prettiest one in Fellowship.
This is more of an interesting video, pointing out a bunch of mistakes you might have missed while watching the movie. I know I missed them all… and I’ve seen the trilogy a bajillion times already.
Lastly, the ever classic video of Leonard Nimoy singing the Ballad of Bilbo Baggins.
