On May 19, 2012, Jenny Rae celebrated the 2nd year anniversary of her cake balls kingdom, Lil Rae Cakes. The party’s theme was inspired by Pee Wee’s Playhouse and it was a super colorful party — glad that I decided to go bright pink all the way! Sweet Harts was crowded throughout the night and the cake balls moved fast, with 27 different flavors available for people to enjoy.
Loved the decoration throughout the store. Outdoor by the fireplace, there were Christmas decorations and tables for arts and crafts… mainly, people were making Christmas Cards. It really doesn’t matter what time of the year it is, you don’t need an excuse to celebrate and make Christmas cards.
There was a costume contest – check out these lovely and very creative ladies. I’m a big fan of the mustached-catfish. Forget mermaids. Let’s get these sexy catfishes out there.
Team Unicorn was in attendance, selling their merchandise. Next to their table, Locketship was selling their jewelry. Their new line, Dinosauria, is kind of awesome – shiny, dinosaur jewelry… can you go wrong?
These cake balls are still the best cake balls in Los Angeles, in my opinion. The quality and taste hasn’t changed over these past two years. In fact, she keeps coming up with delicious, new flavors. My current favorite is the butterscotch flavored balls. So-freakin’-good!
