Cosplay Showcase: Code Geass
If you’ve known me for at least five seconds, you’ll know that Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion is one of my favorite anime. It is the beautiful yet explosive heartbreaking tale of an exiled prince-turned-terrorist and his best friend.
And Pizza Hut. What’s not to love? And you have to have a lot of love to cosplay Code Geass. From the student uniforms to the elegant ballgowns, one has to do a lot of work to put into bringing the outfits to life.
This cosplayer has so many great pictures but this one always gets me so badly. /sobs all over again
She captures the ethereal aura of C.C. doesn’t she? Love how the background compliments the colors.
Julika-hime does a fantastic job portraying both Villetta’s strength and vulnerability.
This cosplayer decided to tackle an outfit that only shows up on the cover of a CD drama! It looks amazing!
The Witch, the Warlock, and the World.
A cosplay group based on a CLAMP illustration. Not a detail overlooked!
Kallen’s ready for battle! And her closeup.
Knight of Zero. More like Knight of Amazing, right?
And what’s a knight without his Knightmare? I swear cosplayers will figure out how to make these things fly one day.
What’s not to love about this sweet photo? Look at that great European setting!
A really nice group photo that also features the Emperor Charles Zi Britannia himself! They’re all so awesome but Charles are hard to come by!
A simple picture that shows the friend dynamic between two otherwise angsty bishounen.
“The shape of happiness might resemble glass…” …. D:
“Wait, you left off half of the anime’s title! WHY???”
Because…we got some Code Geass: Akito the Exiled in here too!
Akito at the Louvre because he lives in Paris. Talk about accuracy! I wonder how long it took to get this shot without the throngs of tourists.
That perfect arrogant stance makes you wonder if Julius is really Lelouch…
There’s so much amazing Code Geass cosplay from around the world and it just makes me so happy to see the passion alive and well especially with the recent theatrical installments of Code Geass: Akito the Exiled keeping my fandom fire burning bright.
