tumblr_o0y8fgDgo11u2gamno1_400

Artist Unknown

Today, we lost one of the greatest actor that has ever lived and judging from all the outpouring dedication from his friends and family, he was also one of the greatest human. Alan Rickman, known as Professor Snape in the geek community, passed on and left us all with a lot of sadness. This week’s Fanart GLEE is dedicated to Severus Snape. You’ve made a believer in all of us that a severe man can sacrifice everything for love.

Thank you for bringing Professor Snape to life. Thank you for all the movies.

It was magical.

Most of you, like me, is in the midst of a Jessica Jones binge watch on Netflix. I personally love this series because it really speaks to me. Sloppy, badass female anti-superhero character for the win! Also, David Tennant as a villain is life. Check out these great fanart I yanked from Tumblr this week… there is a LOT of purple.

Fanart by ThatMadGray @ deviantart

I have a not-so-secret joy these past television seasons that comes from looking forward to new episodes of Once Upon A Time. This season started out pretty crazy and I freakin’ love it so much already. All you Oncers know what I’m talkin’ about, but I will not spoil it for anyone else! This series is teeming with so many amazing characters so this collection of fanart will be a little bit all over the place, but I wanted to show my appreciation for the new season… plus, it is kind of hard to pick a favorite character. I am Team Emma x Regina forever though.

Fanart GLEE: Gundam Wing

Riding on a bit of an anime nostalgia train at the moment and how do I forget one of my first weeaboo awakening? Gundam Wing.

Sure, just like any other Asian girl who grew up with Sailor Moon, anime has always been a part of my life. It wasn’t until I fell into the deep, fandom hole of Gundam Wing that I discovered there is a level of love for anime that I’ve never explored before. Slash fiction? Pining for supposedly 15-year old boys who pilot war-rigged mecha robots? Fangirling with no concept of shame? Sign me up.

This edition of Fanart GLEE is dedicated to the five boys who defined what “doki doki” meant to me.

News of the Sandman movie — which Joseph Gordon-Levitt is producing, possibly directing — are slowly trickling in. The most exciting rumor to hit the internet sphere was that Tom Hiddleston may be interested in playing the well-known main character, Dream. FINGERS CROSSED SO HARD! In honor of our hopes and dreams for Hiddleston, JGL and Sandman… I present to you these fanart scoured from the Land of Deviantart.

Fanart GLEE: Deadpool

Deadpool Colors

fanart by paco850 @ deviantart.com

I know most of you (half of you? Many of you?) are even more excited now about the Deadpool movie after the first red band trailer was released this week. In honor of our favorite mercenary with a mouth, this week’s Fanart Glee is all about Deadpool. I think we can all agree that he is possibly one of the most beloved comic book character. You can’t go to a comic convention without spotting a herd of Deadpool cosplayers… and if you don’t like him, you more than likely do not have a sense of humor. Just saying.

Seriously, guys. Why won’t you just let him love you?

Fanart GLEE: Agent Carter

Hayley Attwell recently won the title of Queen of Dubmash on the Land of Internet. If you haven’t been paying attention, the cast members of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and Agent Carter had declared war on each other via the app Dubmash during San Diego Comic-Con 2015. It was delightful and adorable for all of us fans. This article documented the entire battle. Here’s the final conclusion on how Peggy Carter won. In lieu of this most amazing competition, I decided to dedicated this week’s Fanart GLEE to Agent Carter herself. Check out all the amazing artwork below the jump!
