Halloween! The Purge Live 2013

The Purge Live 2013

Just when we thought we’ve managed to scare ourselves silly with insane mazes at Knott’s Scary Farm or Halloween Horror Night, Gizzy B and I puffed up our chests and marched on over to Blumhouse’s The Purge: Fear the Night. Last year, Blumhouse had their first Halloween event which we sadly missed. This year, Gizzy B and I were determined to find out what this ‘immersive theatrical horror experience’ is all about. Halloween! Universal Studios Halloween Horror Night 2013

HHN 2013

Once again, I found myself at Halloween Horror Night in Hollywood and I’ve already gone to the park twice this year (once with the girls and once with my boyfriend!). When Scarlettburn and I went this year, I had wondered out loud why a parent would agree to take an impressionable child to the park. It wasn’t until I was laughing hysterically at the reactions of a group of kids chaperoned by their own parents inside one of the mazes that I understood why. It’s kind of funny to see terrified children and it’s possibly a nice little revenge for making our parents’ lives a constant hell. . . but everyone has their fun in the end, so why not!
