I arrived at San Diego’s Comic Con on Friday, having missed all of Preview Night and the first day. Sniff! The minute my badge was in my hands, I went across the street to the Scott Pilgrim Experience set-up at the Hilton Gaslamp.
Are we tired of Scott Pilgrim yet?
Well, I’m not!
First stop was the “STUFF” line where I received a bag with a really, cute free T-Shirt inside. A Scott Pilgrim food truck was serving free garlic bread to everyone. Bread makes you fat?!… and apparently have stinky, garlic bread, but it’s all good. The line to go inside was really long and I believe I waited a good hour. It was worth it though and I got to speak to some nice people in the line. Once inside, they had set up a live t-shirt screen-print area where fans can pick and choose their t-shirt colors and which design they wanted to screen-print on it.
There is a flip-book station for friends to coordinate fight scenes that are made into a flip book. People can also record a video greeting to send to friends and upload to facebook.
Click here to watch mine! I’m totally dorky.
Lucky people got to meet and greet with Edgar Wright, Bryan Lee O’Malley and the movie cast members, but I didn’t. It’s okay though, because I seriously just wanted free stuff!
