The Space Pirate Queen sits down with Marie Lu and Aun-Juli Riddle to discuss books, tea and how much sugar we had that night. Marie touches a bit on her current book projects (INCLUDING BATMAN!) and Juli talks about how she got started creating her geek themed tea over at Riddle’s Tea Shoppe!
I have recently stopped drinking coffee (again) and replaced the habit with drinking tea instead (again… let’s see how long I last before I fall off the wagon). I love the idea of Adagio allowing people to blend their own tea but have them themed to my specific interests too!
This past Saturday, Royal-T Cafe hosted a Alice in Wonderland themed event, which mostly catered to the lolita and doll collectors subcultures. My friend and I went to check it out to take loads of photos and eat some delicious food!
I love, love, loooooooove the food at this restaurant!!! I also highly recommend their great selection of tea, especially their Royal Milk Tea. The Royal-T High Tea set is a good choice for people who are eating here for the first time. It has a selection of finger food and samples of most of the desserts! Plus, your choice of tea, of course. We ordered the “Queen’s High Tea” set, which was a special for this particular event. I thought the addition of the cupcake on top was pretty fun.
