With a title as ominous as “Judgment Day,” you can be sure the White Collar season three finale is going to deliver. The possibility of freedom has been held out for Neal Caffrey for the latter half of this season. Now that his commutation hearing has finally arrived, we get to see where Neal’s friends and colleagues stand on the matter. New revelations, unexpected twists, and a gravity-defying stunt all lead up to a jaw-dropping cliffhanger. In other words, it’s business as usual in the world of White Collar.
Rejoice, White Collar fans! We finally made it! There’s only one week left before our favorite cop-and-robber duo returns, with an action-packed premiere full of drama and unexpected twists.
Can you guys believe it’s already been five whole months since the mid-season finale? Just in case you haven’t been obsessively rewatching White Collar episodes to escape the painful withdrawal (the entire series is on Netflix, just fyi), USA Network has helpfully put together a recap of the season so far…
Burn Notice: A New Day volume 2, a digital comic series based on the television show, was released last week. Chapter One: “Open Water” was written by Ryan Johnson and Peter Lalayanis with art by Tony Shasteen.
Burn Notice is actually a really good show and I’ve only started watching season one recently. My main motivation to watch is Bruce Campbell, of course, daddy of all geek studs. Although, my favorite character has to be Fiona (played by Gabrielle Anwar) – smart, sexy and kick your behind so hard your ancestors will weep! I love how crazy she is with her “shoot first, ask questions later” attitude.
He is the ultimate badass of Geekdom: Bruce Campbell. It is a delight to see our king of cult movies, made famous by Army of Darkness with television shows like The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. and Xena under his belt. Currently he is one of the main supporting actor for a series on the USA Network, Burn Notice.
Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe is a spin off movie about Campbell’s character which explains his character’s past exploits. Lucky for all of you we have a copy of the DVD to give away to one winner.

It’s been a little over a month since I posted my first article on DefectiveGeeks highlighting five reasons to watch Suits. Since then, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to interview Tiffani Thiessen and review an early screening of the White Collar summer finale. Hard to believe so much could happen in such a short time! It all came full circle yesterday morning, when I had the chance to join a phone-in Q&A session with Gabriel Macht, who plays Harvey Specter on Suits.
The first season of Suits is already coming to a close, with only two episodes left: “Rules of the Game” airs tonight at 10/9c, and the season finale “Dogfight” airs next week on September 8th. In the interview, Gabriel discusses what the remainder of the season has in store and reveals a few tantalizing hints about Harvey’s “mysterious past.” He also sheds light on the relationships Harvey has with Jessica and Mike, as well as give some wonderful insight into the truth behind Harvey’s tough exterior.
